Meet Emily:
I’m Emily, a postpartum doula offering calm, compassionate support to families in the early weeks after birth. My path to this work grew from many years of service as a wilderness therapy instructor, teacher, nanny, and mama of two, as well as my own deeply transformative — and at times isolating — postpartum experiences. These roles showed me just how essential care, reassurance, and steady support are during this tender season.
I support families with newborn care guidance, emotional reassurance, meal prep and practical, hands-on help so they can rest, recover, and build confidence. My approach is gentle, judgment-free, and grounded in real-life experience, with the goal of creating a nurturing space where parents feel seen, supported, and deeply nourished as they settle into life with their baby.
Outside of my work, I love spending time outdoors with my family, savoring slow mornings, and tending my garden- practices that keep me grounded and connected to the rhythms of care and restoration that inspire my work with families.
