Packing Guide for Prenatal or Postnatal Class

Our series classes offer an incredible opportunity for embodied movement, connection between you and your baby, and growth of a strong community among folks in a similar place in life.

One of the questions we get frequently is what to bring to prenatal or postnatal yoga. If you’re wondering, don’t worry! We’ll lay it all out for you here.

Prenatal Series

This is a class series for you and your pregnant body, where you should expect to build community with other folks in class, work through embodied movement, and learn about what’s happening in your body in your pregnancy. You are the most important thing to bring!

Otherwise, you can bring anything that will help you feel comfortable. That might include:

  • A water bottle

  • Any layers of clothing, like a sweatshirt or socks, that you might want on or off for movement

You can bring your own mat if you prefer. We have mats and props available in the studio as well.

Postnatal Series

This is a class series for you and your baby, where you should expect to have time to get to know other folks in class, work through embodied movement, and connect with your little one. The two of you are the most important things to bring!

Otherwise, you can bring anything for you and your baby that will help you feel comfortable. That might include:

  • A diaper bag

  • Something to wear or carry your baby up to the studio in (as it is challenging to try to push a stroller up to the studio)

  • A water bottle

  • Wear comfortable clothes for movement

We have all the mats and props that you will need for class; however, some folks prefer to bring their own mats and props. Whichever makes you comfortable works for us!

We can’t wait to see you in class!
