“This is an unbelievable training that benefits anyone working with pregnant or postpartum people. At first I thought I would use this training to just add to my birth knowledge as a birth worker but now I’m already trying to save for a 200 hour class to offer my community prenatal yoga! If you want to have a sense of community, learn at a reasonable pace, and have fun this is the training for you!”

Why choose the Flow of Life Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training?

  • Fact-based, inclusive childbirth education: Our course will include childbirth education that is designed to give yoga teachers access to accurate and up to date information about childbirth.

  • Community: Throughout the Flow of Life training, trainees will feel the value of community. We believe that strong communities lead to healthy pregnancies and families. This training will demonstrate how to hold spaces for people in all stages of pregnancy.

  • Functional Movement Practice: We approach yoga asanas based on functional anatomy. Our trainees will learn:

    • Why some asanas are beneficial for pregnancy

    • Why some asanas are not beneficial for pregnancy

    • How to alleviate common pregnancy aches and pains

    • Pelvic Floor health

    • Tools to relieve discomfort and develop coping skills

"A lot of my trainings have offered SO much knowledge, but less on how to structure a class. . . . [This training was] informative, engaging, well-structured, dynamic, and PRACTICAL."

—Brook G., Recent PYTT Graduate
